Key Accountabilities
- Review financial reports prepared by controllership unit (using GL) & assist in managing the process of conversion of these financial reports into Management reports / MIS (Enterprise level as well as region & unit level)
- Manage the process of integration of other data (that is collected from systems other than GL) with the GL based data in Management reports
- Support initiatives to ensure planning processes are well defined & standardised to the extent possible
- Assist in managing - various stakeholders to get appropriate business inputs and the financial modelling process to develop sound financial / business plans.
- Preparation of monthly management review reports / packs to facilitate business reviews.
- Monitor and evaluate the actual performance versus the plan. Report out the variance analysis with key insights.
- Identify and monitor key business drivers. Develop detailed analytics around these drivers using Trend analysis or Variance analysis Vs plans.
- Assist in preparation, review & dissemination of appropriate expense budgets across functions
- Manage detailed expense analysis & reporting. Supporting reviews with respective function heads / management to identify cost control areas & implement appropriate cost control measures
Education
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA from premier Institute.
Challenges
- To lay down comprehensive & robust MIS and business planning processes in line with evolving & changing business requirements
- Identification & quick implementation of effective measures in line with industry, competition, customer dynamics.
Professional Experience
- About 4-7 years experience in FP&A Function in Financial Services
- Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office), particularly MS Excel & Powerpoint.
