Operations Risk & Compliance - Manager

Key Accountabilities

• Introduce / refine the Operational Risk framework commensurate with the scale of operations
• Ensure all stakeholders understand the operational risk framework, and their roles and responsibilities.
• Ensure that all operational risk toolkits (RCSAs, Key Risk Indicators) are well understood and standardized across the organization.
• Develop a Key Risk Indicators database for each risk type and agree triggers for traffic light status. Populate the database and publish the reports every month.
• Convene and be the secretary of the Business Risk and Compliance Committee. Compile papers for discussion in the committee. Produce the Risk Profile of FSWA by considering various aspects - exceptions from RCSA, Key Risk Indicators, Internal Audit and External Audit Comments, Quality Assurance Reviews, Compliance Reviews,
• Manage the second line of assurance by
  • Maintaining a list of assurable entities
  • Performing risk assessment to determine review cycle for each entity
  • Conducting periodic quality assurance reviews on the RCSAs and the underlying controls in line with the review cycle
  • Report findings to the Business Head and CEO
  • Update progress on result of reviews and resolution of issues raised to the Business Risk and Compliance Committee
• Facilitate the development and review of the Business Continuity Plan
• Guide line management units on the linkage between risks faced by the organization and assurance required
